currently reading: The Influencers. This is crazy from the start. A family of influencers (major influencers, maybe like a family with a popular television show with a name that rhymes with Fardashians?) is trying to deal with the death of their husband/stepfather. The mother is trying to manage her image while her daughters are trying to figure out who killed him. And fans of the family weigh in on the whole chaotic thing. This one is lots of fun.

I’m listening to Such a Good Mom. It’s about new mother Brynn and her struggles to survive when her son won’t sleep at night. Then her husband gets arrested for murder, and she has to figure out what happened, while caring for herself and her infant. It takes place on Martha’s Vineyard, just as the tourist season is opening. Her family no longer lives on the island, so they can’t help her much, and her husband’s family is not as open to her as she’d like. I can’t wait to find out more about what’s really going on there. This one comes out Tuesday.

Also out on Tuesday is Salsa Daddy, a cookbook about (you guessed it!) salsas! Filled with recipes for Mexican dishes—with lots of dips. I am hoping to put together my review this week, and I can already tell you that this one is going to make me hungry!

up next: Big Bad Wool, about sheep that solve murders. I think I’ve mentioned this one already, but you will definitely want to look it up. There is a movie coming out later this year based on the first in the series, Three Bags Full. Emma Thompson, Hugh Jackman. You know you want to see this movie! At least, you know I want to see this movie!
