1. Saturday was the UEFA Champions League Final, where Paris Saint-Germain won against Inter Milan. I liked the soccer, but I love this broadcasting team. We used to watch Kate Scott during Bundesliga games (she was Kate Abdo then) and fell in love with her. But as much fun as that was, seeing her now with Thierry Henry, Jamie Gallagher, and Micah Richards is just the absolute sweet spot of broadcasting teams. It is perfection. They could be talking about a potato salad making competition, and I will still hang on every word. And I don’t even like potato salad. I can’t believe I have to wait months for more European soccer.

2. Last Sunday was the finale of 24 in 24, which looked exhausting. It was fun to watch though, even though my favorite didn’t win. But neither did Voltaggio, so he retains his reputations as always the bridesmaid, never the bride.

3. The towel. I was folding laundry on the table several weeks ago, and this guy jumped right on it and laid down. He’s been napping on the towel off and on ever since. I know I should take it from him, but it seems to make him happy. I know there will come a point where he gets tired of it, and I’ll take it back down to the laundry room to wash again, but until then, nap on, sweet kitty. Oh, and we like a catnip mouse around here. Can you tell?
